She was born in Lisbon, June 4, 1918, the eldest of John and Veronique Fortin’s six children. Her husband, Frank J. Bussiere, died in 1977. She had four children. Her eldest daughter, Jacqueline B. Lincoln, predeceased her in 1988.
Yvette lived most of her life in Lewiston and was employed at Clark’s Pharmacy. In 1983, she moved to Portland and worked at Wellby Drug Store. She attended St. Joseph’s Church. For the last 16 years she resided at the Park Danforth.
She had many interests. She enjoyed reading, crafts, taking walks, quilting and plant care. But what she loved most was her family.
She is survived by: her three children, Fern A. Morse of Florida, Pauline C. Bussiere and Frank Bussiere Jr.; as well as by her three grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
