DIXFIELD – Neighborly Senior Citizens met Jan. 21 at the Legion Hall with 80 members and guests present.

President Connie Tutlis conducted the meeting. Door prizes were won by John Bernard and Bill Packard. Entertainment was furnished by Silver and Gold.

Observing December and January birthdays were: Ethel Gordon, Rene Raymond, Naomi Robertson, Leland Merchant, Freda Bernard, Anita Reynolds, Raylene Richard and Terri Records. Observing 37 years of marriage were Phil and Yvonne Hill.

New membership cards are available.

There is still space available for the March 8 trip to Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, N.H., for the annual St. Patrick Show at a cost of $41; April 1 trip to Lac Megantic, Can., for sugar party; April 7 and 8 trip to Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun; and May 3rd Blue Hawaii Show at Indian Head Resort in Lincoln, N.H.

A Chinese auction was held. Get-well cards were signed for Lois Vienneau and Pat Ruff. Sympathy cards were signed for Marcel and Nila Martineau, Hector and Rita Girardin, Irene Sinclair and Jeannette Knox. Several new members were welcomed. Membership in the Neighborly Senior Citizens is open to anyone age 50 and over at a cost of $5 per year.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 18, with entertainment by Barry Wood.
