1916 – 2004

WINTHROP – B. Louise Harlow, 87, formerly of Orchard Lane in Bath, died on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at the Heritage Residential Care Facility.

Born in Turner, Sept. 29, 1916, she was a daughter of Chester and Beatrice (Allen) Harlow.

She worked for 22 years at Bates Mfg. Co.in Lewiston after graduating from Edward Little High School in Auburn in 1934. Following working several years at Raytheon Mfg. in Lewiston, she worked for the next 28 years at Bath Iron Works as executive secretary, retiring in 1992 at the age 76.

Survivors include two sisters, Edith Arnold of Auburn and Marguerite Connor and her husband, Fred of Hallowell; her nephews, Clifford Arnold and wife, Barbara of Greene, Donald Connor and wife, Sarah of Brunswick and James Connor and wife, Joan of Litchfield; and nieces, Nancy Davenport and husband, Henry of Auburn and Linda Spear and husband, Harold of Canton.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff of the Heritage Facility in Winthrop for the excellent care extended to her while she was resident.
