1908 – 2004

LEWISTON – Alice C. Bell, 95, of 143 Mill St., Auburn, died on Thursday, Feb. 12, at Marshwood Center for Health Care & Rehabilitation.

She was born in Portland, on Aug. 20, 1908, the daughter of Harry and Eva (Larrabee) Carr. She received her education in the schools of Portland and Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School in the class of 1925.

On Nov. 7, 1930, she married John S. Bell in Portsmouth, N.H. Mr. Bell died in April of 1955. She worked for New England Telephone Co., The American Heart Association, and The American Cancer Society. Survivors include one daughter, Sally Plummer and her husband Charles of Auburn; one grandson, Roger Morin of Orlando, Fla.; two granddaughters, Linda Ouellette and her husband Michael of Orlando, Fla., and Pamela Benedetto and her husband Robert of Elliot; and two great-grandchildren, Joseph and Lily Benedetto of Elliot.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Lorraine Morin; and one grandson, Thomas Morin.
