AUGUSTA – Five Maine Conservation School students will be recognized by Gov. John E. Baldacci at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the State House.

Each 2003 camper was invited to return home, take one action that would improve wildlife habitat and enter the contest to demonstrate that one person can make a difference for wildlife.

The winners will receive prizes Tuesday, including the grand prize of a fly rod and a day with Master Maine Guide Don Kleiner. Those to be honored are Peter Alexander, 14, first, Cape Elizabeth; Evin Beaulieu, 11, Litchfield; Becky Tarrio, 12, Sebago; John Baylies, 11, North Andover, Mass.; and Ryan Profenno, 12, Lewiston.
