1937 – 2004

AUBURN – Jacqueline L. Lebrun, 66, formerly of 130 Seventh St., Auburn, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Clover Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since November of 2002.

Born in Lewiston on April 5, 1937, she was the daughter of Jacques and Bernadette Poulin Mathieu. Educated locally, she attended St. Peter’s School. She was employed for several years at Clark Shoe, and also worked at other area shoe shops.

On Sept. 1, 1955, she married Richard J. Lebrun at Ss. Peter & Paul Church. She was member of St. Louis Parish. She also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 153, the Dames de St. Anne, and the Pastime Club Women’s Auxiliary.

She loved to play bingo and was a member of the Pastime Cribbage League before her illness forced her to stop playing. She and her family were long-time seasonal campers at the Muskeegon Campground on Hogan Pond in Oxford during the 70’s and 80’s.

Survivors include her son, Daniel and his wife Diane of Auburn; a sister, Constance Siegel of Auburn and Leesburg, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Jennifer R. Mercier, Adam R. Lebrun, and Meghan M. Lebrun.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Dec. 22, 1991.
