AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 of Auburn announces a change of meeting place and time for the Monday, March 1, meeting. The meeting will be held at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane, at 1:30 p.m. when all the residents of the home are invited to attend. All Odd Fellows and Rebekahs are welcome and are urged to a bring a friend as it will be a social meeting. A program and refreshments will follow the meeting.

Senior program

NEW GLOUCESTER – The Remember When Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, at the Amvets Hall for a potluck lunch. The program will feature Elliot Levy, curator of the Poland Spring Preservation. The group met Feb. 3 when Joyce Bickford, chaplain, asked for a moment of silence in memory of Jane Dyer. Door prizes were won by Pat Morrell and Bill Redmun.

Canine obedience

AUBURN – Great Falls Dog Obedience Club is starting another six-week obedience class on Wednesday, March 3. The class is open to all puppies and dogs from 3 months and up. To register and for more information, call the club’s trainer at 784-7578.

Pomona theme

POLAND – Androscoggin Pomona Grange 1 will meet for at 6:30 p.m. supper Wednesday, March 3, at Excelsior Grange. The program, under the direction of Steven Haycock and the Youth Committee, will have a St. Patrick’s Day theme. All are asked to dress in green. An attendance drawing will be held. All members and guests are invited to attend.

Degree work

AUBURN – Ashlar Lodge 105, AF and AM, will hold a special communication on Monday, March 1, at the Auburn Masonic Temple, 1021 Turner St. Work on the entered apprentice degree will start at 7:30 p.m. A supper will be held prior to the meeting at 6:30.
