LEWISTON – The Jobs for Maine’s Graduates program at Lewiston Regional Technical Center will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 7:45 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday, March 5, in the Lewiston High School Gymnasium. Contact Dan Gish at 795-4144, ext. 312 to make an appointment.

Price is Right

MECHANIC FALLS – The sixth annual The Price is Right will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Elm Street School Gymnasiuam. Doors open at 6. Tickets are $6 in advance and $9 at the door. Those interested are encouraged to get tickets early since seating is limited. Tickets are availabe at the school by calling 345-3381.

All participants must be 18 years old to play. Proceeds will benefit the eighth-grade class trip to Boston. There is no smoking on the school grounds.

Haley fund-raiser

LEWISTON – Friends, family and the local community will gather for a Habitat for the Haleys’ fund-raiser from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 7, at the Ramada Inn.

Kathy, Don and Don Jr. lost their home and all of their personal belongings to a fire that gutted their home of more than 20 years Jan. 22.

Retired educators

AUBURN – Androscoggin Retired Educators will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Central Maine Community College with Cathy Sullivan from MEA-R and lunch at noon. A Life Flight speaker is scheduled after lunch. All retired educators are welcome.
