1935 – 2004
LEWISTON – Claudette T. Gagne, 69, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly Monday morning, March 1, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston April 12, 1935, a daughter of Camille and Rejeanne (Roy) Bosse. She was educated in local schools, graduated from St. Dom’s in 1954, and remained a lifelong resident of this community.
On May 30, 1959, she married Leo Gagne. She worked for many years in housekeeping at Bates College until her retirement in 1997. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul’s Church. Among her favorite enjoyments were first and foremost spending time with her family, children and grandchildren. She also liked doing needlecrafts, crocheting and spending time at their camp at Crooked River Campground.
She leaves her husband, Leo Gagne of Lewiston; two daughters, Diane Wright and husband Rodney of East Poland and Lise Hudson and husband Jim of Lewiston; a son, Michael A. Gagne of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Tony Gagne and Kevin and Rebecca Wright; and three brothers, Gerard Bosse and wife Camilla, Roger Bosse and Real Bosse and wife Pauline all of Lewiston.
