BRUNSWICK – A popular juvenile novel, “Holes” by Louis Sachar, has been adapted for the stage by Al Miller, and will open Friday, March 12, at The Theater Project, 14 School St.

The 20-member cast has both teenagers and adults from the community.

Director Al Miller says, “The Theater Project’s intimate space offers an opportunity to drop the story right in the audience’s lap, a treat for actors and audiences alike.

“The set by Christopher Price, the lighting by JP Gagnon and the original music by Jim Hall all help create the heat and parched atmosphere of the dried-up lake.”

“Holes” will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, March 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27, and Sundays at 2 p.m., on March 14, 21 and 28.

All tickets are pay-what-you-want with a suggested price of $10. For reservations, call 729-8584.
