BRUNSWICK – The Center Stage Players, a theater company for seniors, will present a theater festival at 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6, at the 55 Plus Center, 6 Noble St.

The group is made up of seniors who have an interest in some aspect of theater.

The 55 Plus Center hall will be transformed into an intimate theater. The festival will feature several short plays the group has been developing over the past few months.

Many of the works are original pieces written by Center Stage members Bonnie Wheeler, Edie Hazard, Rodney Sarle and Joan Brewer, and Center Stage director, Frank Wicks. Brad Terry, a jazz clarinetist, will play dance music for one of the sketches.

There will be a different group of plays each day.

Admission is by donation to the Center Stage March Madness Theater Festival. For reservations, call729-0757.
