1913 – 2004

SCARBOROUGH – Louise M. Eadie, 90, formerly of 154 Sweden St., Berlin, N.H., passed away on Thursday morning, March 4, at the Pine Point Center for Health Care.

Born in Berlin, N.H., Dec. 6, 1913, the daughter of John B. and Ethel (Cameron) MacDougall, she had lived in Berlin for most of her life.

Mrs. Eadie was a graduate of Berlin High School with the Class of 1931, and a graduate of Keene Norman School in 1934. She majored in music, directed the senior and junior choirs at the Berlin Congregational Church, UCC and the Woman’s Club Chorus.

She was an amateur artist who studied with Leo Aubin. For many years she was a substitute teacher after she was married to James Eadie.

Mrs. Eadie was a member of the Berlin Congregational Church, UCC and a member of the Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonnie Eadie of Standish; two sons, James C. Eadie of Wells and St. Augustine, Fla., and John M. Eadie of Peabody, Mass.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Alemian of Cape Cod, Mass., and Beatrice Juskalian of Stockbridge, Mass.; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband, James Eadie in 1995.
