Dear Sun Spots: Thanks for all your help in the past. I enjoy your column every day.

I was wondering if any of your readers would have any older Western paperbacks called “The Mountain Man Series” by William W. Johnstone. I have gotten quite a few from Artios Books, but need the No. 2 and 3 books in the series as they should be read in sequence. I would be willing to pay a reasonable price, what I pay at the bookstore, if anyone has any. I need 10 in all to complete the series. The ones I need are “Trial of the Mountain Man” (to save space they are all followed by Mountain Man), “Revenge,” “Rage,” “Vengeance,” “Honor,” “Battle,” “Pride,” “Creed,” “Guns,” “Heart” and “Justice.”

They have been very helpful at Artios Books and even now are trying to find them for me, but I can’t read any further until I have No. 3 and No. 4, then I have quite a few of the others until I get to No. 13 and am missing quite a few from here on.

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. My phone number is 926-428l. Thank you for any help you are able to give. – B.T., New Gloucester.

Dear Sun Spots: I’m looking for an instruction manual for a Revere pressure cooker. I missed the address you provided in your column. Could you please repeat it? – C.H.L., Lewiston.

The following response appeared Dec. 17, 2003:

If the model number you are looking for is PC 806, you should contact Fox International at (800) 262-9952 to order a copy. Sun Spots has learned that the Revere line has been discontinued. Perhaps other readers familiar with this product might have a copy they’d be willing to share with you. In addition, try contacting World Kitchen Help, which carried Revere and may have a copy of the manual if your cooker was manufactured within the last two years. You can reach them at (800) 999-3436, option 2 for Revere products.

Dear Sun Spots: Volunteers are hard at work planning the 27th Leavitt Area High School Project Graduation event. The main fund-raising activity will again be the annual auction, to be held at Leavitt on March 20. Donations of cash, gift certificates, services and other auction items are desperately needed to ensure a successful event. Project Graduation is a chemical-free activity that has proven to reduce teenage fatalities and injuries on graduation night. Please contact Brenda Theriault at (207) 946-5750, Mary Anne Courbron at (207) 946-7430 or Leavitt Area High School at (800) 498-8014 if you would like to donate to this lifesaving event. – Brenda Theriault, Greene.
