LIVERMORE FALLS – The American Red Cross and American Legion are sponsoring a bloodmobile from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Murray Hall. First-time volunteer donors are needed to replace donors who have moved away or become ineligible to donate.

Health Expo

RANGELEY – SeniorsPlus and Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice announce that the Health and Caregiver Expos will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 2, at the Congregational Church Barn Annex.

Participants will learn what services are available to caregivers in Rangeley and the surrounding area. They will receive information from agencies and gain a better understanding of these resources. There will also be free bone density testing and blood pressure screening.

Survey winner

FARMINGTON – Julie Moody of Industry is the winner of $500 from the Healthy Community Coalition random drawing sponsored by Wal-Mart, according to senior evaluator Kathleen Welch of the Healthy Community Coalition. The contest was open to people who participated in a coalition survey of parents of young children. The survey will be used as part of the Tobacco-Free Franklin Families program.
