1939 – 2004
CANTON – Janette H. Knowles, 64, of Canton, died Monday evening, March 15, at the Victorian VIlla where she had been a resident since of August of 2003.
She was born April 11, 1939, in Farmington, a daughter of Chester and Hester (Pratt) Knowles. She lived with her parents until 1986, at which time she moved to Maplewood Lodge in Canton, a home which she loved.
“Jan” was a special little person who was very happy and well loved by all who knew her. She loved to go shopping and out to eat. Her favorite activities centered around music, especially country music. Her passion was dancing.
She is survived by two sisters, Lillian Wright of North Jay and Ruth Misner and her husband, Hubert of Chesterville; four nephews; and two nieces.
