1921 – 2004

WALES – Jeannette V. Webster, 82, a resident of Wales, died Monday, March 15, at her home, surrounded by her family, following a four-year battle with cancer.

Born in Lewiston, April 30, 1921, the daughter of Arthur and Amanda Martel Pinard, she was educated in the schools of Lewiston.

She married John F. Webster on Nov. 2, 1940, in Greene. They raised their family on the Bull Run Road in Wales. He died Sept. 6, 1988.

She was a housewife and mother and worked for 25 years as a C.N.A. for Bolster Heights Nursing Home and Marcotte Nursing Home, until her retirement in 1984. She was a member of the Wales Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Wales Grange. She enjoyed taking care of her yard and gardening.

Survivors include four daughters and their husbands, Virginia and Robert Dixon of Wales, Evelyn Johnson of Jackson Beach, Fla., Helen and Paul Couillard of Turner and Nancy and Lee Libby of Wales; five sons and their wives, John and Wanda Webster of Springfield, Ohio, Wallace Webster of Clairton, Pa., Thomas and Sharon Webster of Mechanic Falls, Steven Webster of Riverview, Fla., and David and Amy Webster of Wales; one brother and his wife, Robert and Terry Pinard of Lewiston; one brother-in-law, Chuck Clark of Biloxi, Miss.; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many, many, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Pinard Jr. and Omer Pinard; and four sisters, Anita Withers, Yvette Edwards, Georgette Clark and Priscilla Lauzier.
