1933 – 2004
TURNER – Ruth J. O’Donnell, 70, of Rose Ridge, Jay died Thursday, March 18, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 23, 1933, the daughter of Clifford and Minnie Cole. On Jan. 9, 1954, she married George O’Donnell at Our Lady of Ransom Church in Mechanic Falls. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past January.
She worked for several local doctors offices and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She loved taking care of her grandchildren and will always be remembered by her family with great love and admiration.
She leaves behind her husband, George; daughter, Patty and her husband Dale of Turner; daughters, Roxanne Hines of Oklahoma, and Marianne Medcoff of Jay, daughter, Pam and husband Brian Dube of Livermore, and daughter, Heidi and husband Ken of Ohio; sons, Tim of North Carolina, Jeff of Indiana, Mike of Jay and Terry and his wife Beth also of Jay; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Boyker of Jay; and a brother, Allon Cole of Georgia, all whom will greatly miss her.
