Good Samaritan

Thank you to the young couple who stopped and helped us out on the turnpike in Gray on March 17 when my car broke down.

I truly marvel at the ways God works things out and sends his angels when we need them the most

Thank you again.

Special people

Thank you to all the special people that have donated and supported my family and I through my illness.

Thanks to everyone who organized, donated and supported the fund-raisers – the fishing derby held at Wayne Pond, the supper held at the Canton Municipal and the supper held at the Buckfield Masonic Hall.

Your generosity and thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. I will be forever grateful to all of you. Thanks again and God bless!

Happy returns

In March, I lost or misplaced a book I had borrowed from the Lisbon Public Library. I would like to sincerely thank whoever found that book and went out of her way to return it to the library.

It is so refreshing in this troubled world of ours to realize there are still people out there who will go out of their way, to render a kind gesture.

I regularly donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. I will include a little extra in gratitude for the kindness of a stranger.

A fan again

This is to thank the fine hockey team and coaches from EL for a great season and another championship.

It has been many years since I have gone to watch high school hockey. I started attending a few games at the Pettingill Arena and was very impressed with the quality and sportsmanship of the players. Needless to say, I became a fan again and couldn’t wait for the next game. I was sorry to see the season end.

Edward Little and the community is fortunate to have a coaching staff that is very hockey knowledgeable and, equally important, tried to make the game fun for the players. As a fan, I could tell the players enjoyed playing hard for the coaches.

Again, thanks for a great season.
