RUMFORD – A variety of fairy tale subjects came to life recently at St. Athanasius-St. John School when students presented some plays in French.

Although French is a daily part of the curriculum in grades five to eight, students had an opportunity to share their French speaking skills with a packed house of family and friends.

Eighth-graders presented two plays, “Les Troi Ours” (The Three Bears), and “Blanche Neige” (Snow White).

“Le Petit Chaperone Rouge (Little Red Riding Hood) was performed by seventh-graders.

The sixth-grade students offered a French rap song, “Me Voici” (Here I Am) and the fifth grade class presented a jump rope chant in French, “Sauter a la Corde.”
