BATH – Maine fiddlers who also participate as instructors at the annual Maine Fiddle Camp will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24, at the Chocolate Church Arts Center.

Concert proceeds will benefit the Maine Fiddle Camp and help provide scholarships.

The focus of Maine Fiddle Camp and this concert is the Down East style that characterizes this cultural region. This includes French Canadian, Irish, Scottish, and Scandinavian influences brought by those who settled here. The old-time country band Old Grey Goose will also perform. There will be accompaniment on piano, guitar and bones; a jam session and a post-concert reception.

Participating musicians include Ellen and John Gawler, Tim Farrel, Greg Boardman, Carter and Kaity Newell, Pam Weeks, John Pranio, Elaine Malkin, Jeff Mckeen, Sharon Pyne, Doug Protsik, Hank Washburn, Steve Muise, Jennifer Armstrong, Dudley and Jackie Laufman, and Ed Howe.

Tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The arts center is located at 798b Washington St.
