SOUTH PARIS – Georgia E. (Jordan) Packard, 99, of South Paris, died April 14, in South Paris.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1904, the daughter of Jesse and Hannah (Estes) Edwards and was educated in Woodstock schools. She had worked for many years at Tibbetts Spool Mill and was a housewife and homemaker.

She was a member of the Bryant Pond Senior Citizens, Bethel Historical Society, Locke Mills Historical Society, the Locke Mills Union Church and Jefferson Chapter 89 OES of Bryant Pond.

She married Ansel Jordan on Oct. 25, 1921, he died in 1978. She married her second husband, Mansfield Packard on Jan. 9, 1982, he died in 2003.

She is survived by one daughter, Madelene Hunt of Bethel; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Ethelyn in May 1979.
