LISBON – The Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday to consider a ruling that grandfathered Longchamps Motorbike Race Track from the land use law.

Ronald Poulin is seeking to overturn a decision that Longchamps’ 120-plus acre facility at 15 Lisbon St. is a nonconforming use that is grandfathered. He is a spokesman on behalf of several neighbors who contend there is excessive noise from the track and the track violates the 1974 land use ordinance.

After investigating the complaint, the Codes Enforcement Office concluded that the track has not changed since it was established prior to the 1974 ordinance, “has not expanded or materially changed,” has been in use continually, and “had not been discontinued for a year or more since that time.”

The other appeal is for a two-foot variance to build a breezeway and garage at 18 Faith St.
