AUBURN – School will start on Sept. 1 and will end as early as June 14 next year.

The Auburn School Committee on Wednesday unanimously approved a 2004-05 calendar that calls for 175 school days and seven teacher workshop days.

Teachers will start the new year Monday, Aug. 30. Students will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

In November, students will have no school Nov. 22-26, while teachers will attend workshops Nov. 22 and 23. Vacations will be held Dec. 23-31, Feb. 21-25 and April 15-22.

Five snow days have been built into the calendar. The end of school is scheduled between Tuesday, June 14, and Tuesday, June 21, depending on the number of snow days used.
