WEST PARIS – West Paris Grange will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at its hall at 4 Church St. The grange’s annual Mother’s Day craft and food sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the hall. Lunch of corn chowder, hot dogs, sandwiches, pies, cookies and beverages will be on sale at noon. There will be plants for sale and a cookie walk. The West Paris Senior Citizens will have a table to raise money for its fall trip. To rent a table for $5, phone 674-3872.

WEST PARIS – The Ladies Group of the West Paris Baptist Church will hold its Mother-Daughter, Grandmother-Granddaughter banquet at noon Saturday, May 8, at the downstairs dining room of the church. Men of the church will serve the catered meal.

Open house

OXFORD – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Family History and Genealogy Center will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Church on the Skeetfield Road, one-quarter mile off Route 26 at the blinking light.
