HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) – Right-hander Chris Smith allowed four hits over seven innings and Jeff Bailey and Kenny Perez homered to lead the Portland Sea Dogs over the Harrisburg Senators 2-0.

Smith (2-0) struck out seven and walked two before leaving with two on and two outs in the seventh. Eric Glaser then retired pinch-hitter Eric Storey on a flyout to end the inning.

Glaser worked into the eighth, recording the first two outs before Colin Young picked up the final four outs for his first save.

Harrisburg (9-15) could manage only four singles in the game, including two by Larry Broadway.

Portland (10-14) scored first on Bailey’s homer in the fourth inning off Harrisburg starter Jason Stevenson (2-2), who allowed six hits while striking out two in six innings.

Perez hit a homer off reliever Saul Rivera in the ninth inning. Sheldon Fulse and Bailey each had two of Portland’s seven hits.
