AUBURN – Brian S. (Lefty) Waterhouse, 42, died unexpectedly at his home May 9.

Born in Lewiston July 5, 1961, the son of Raymond A. and Priscilla Waterhouse. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School in the Class of 1977. He was employed in the sheet metal trade for many years first at Hamilton & Sons Sheet Metal of Auburn and then at Baker Welding in Standish. He was later the owner of Doc’s Diner in New Auburn.

While living in Poland, he was a member of the Poland Fire Department and made a hobby of collecting fire department items. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of New Gloucester. His pride and joy was his Boston Whaler boat, and he was a boating enthusiast, and avid reader.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Marion of East Poland; a sister, Joy Ann and her husband, Peter Lagasse, his nephew, Paul Lagasse all of Casco; his stepsister, Sandy Stewart of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by his mother, Priscilla.
