LEWISTON – The wedding of Laura A. Patrie and Jason P. LeBourdais was held at 1 p.m. on Oct. 4 at Bates College Chapel. Steve Morgan, friend of the family, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. LeBourdais is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Patrie of Peru and Davie, Fla. Mr. LeBourdais is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. LeBourdais of Greene.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory gown, off-the-shoulder, with fitted bodice embellished with pearls and sequins, full skirt and chapel train. A pearl and silk headpiece supported her fingertip veil, created by Betsy Hutchins, cousin of the bridegroom. She carried a bouquet of Stargazer lilies and roses, arranged with ivy.

Karen Purinton, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor and Michelle Stebbins, friend of the bride, was bridesmaid. Alicia Patrie, niece/godchild of the bride, was junior bridesmaid.

Chad LeBourdais, brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and usher was Michael Desmarais, friend of the bridegroom. Junior usher was Tyler Griffin, son of the bride.

Readers were Kelly Desmarais, friend of the bridegroom, and Betsy Hutchins, cousin of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the home of the bridegroom’s parents in Greene, after which the couple traveled to Fort Myers, Fla. They are residing in Lewiston.

The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and attended Bentley College and Lewiston-Auburn College. She is employed as intake assistant at Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Lewiston High School and attended Thomas College. He is employed as general manager of Lewiston-Auburn Tent and Awning Co.
