TOPSHAM – “Releasing the Wounds that Bind You,” a Christian retreat for emotional healing, will be presented by Nancy Dubord, ThM, RC, from Friday through Sunday, June 4 to 6, at the Sky-Hy Conference Center, 32 Sky Hy Drive.
The retreat is open to men and women who are interested in healing from a Christian perspective. Subjects discussed will include how to be released from childhood wounds; how to stop self-destructive behavior; and how to build self-understanding, compassion and esteem.
Additionally covered topics will be areas involving personal relationships, emotionally based health problems and anxiety and depression issues. Scripture and its practical application will be integrated throughout the retreat.
Dubord has a master of theology from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., and is a registered counselor with the state.
