AUBURN – Anne Stauffer-Behnke’s fourth-grade class at Webster School will honor the Auburn Public Library’s centennial year with a play, “Happy 100th Birthday.”

The students invite the community to join them at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 7, for the program at the school auditorium to learn the history of the library, its role in the communities and in the lives of its patrons.

The students’ enthusiasm has grown during the past year as they have walked to the library each month. They have signed out books, listened to stories and learned about different types of books – from historical fiction to poetry.

The students invite the community to share their enthusiasm and help celebrate the library’s 100th birthday. Refreshments will be served following the program.
