LEWISTON – The wedding of Nicole Celine Nadeau and Johnathan Philip Adams was held at 10:30 a.m. on June 28 at Holy Cross Church. Msgr. Rene Mathieu officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Adams is the daughter of Dr. Gerald and Celine Nadeau of Auburn. Mr. Adams is the son of Richard and Debra Adams of Lisbon Falls.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-the-shoulder gown designed with short cap sleeves and a Basque waistline, which flowed into a full organza princess dress. The gown was embellished with Schiffli lace and beads and sequins. She carried a cascade of silk white roses, buds of wisteria, baby’s breath and ivy greens.

Rachel Nadeau was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Christina Almy and Katherine Adams, sisters of the bridegroom, and Sandi Spurlock, friend of the bride. Mackenzie Almy, niece of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.

Craig Bouchard, friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man and ushers were Robert Nadeau, brother of the bride, and Craig Voisine and Matt Poliquin, friends of the bridegroom. Daniel Nadeau, brother of the bride, was ring bearer.

The reception followed at Lost Valley in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Hawaii. They are residing in Lisbon Falls.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and attended the University of Southern Maine. She is currently employed as a fraud risk specialist for Banknorth and is coach of the competition and basketball cheering squad at Edward Little High School in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Lisbon High School and attended Southern Maine Technical College. He is currently employed as a firefighter for the Brunswick Naval Air Station, the Scarborough Fire Department, and is a volunteer for the Lisbon Falls Fire Department. He is also a coach for the Lisbon High School hockey team.
