Accidents

Auburn

• Vehicles driven by Denise C. McCulloch, 53, of 1059 Center Minot Hill Road, Minot, and Joyce M. Basting, 43, 92 Pulsifer Road, Poland, collided at 8:30 a.m. Saturday on Garfield Road at Perkins Ridge Road. Damage to McCulloch’s 1993 Dodge four-door was estimated at $5,000; to Basting’s 1999 Subaru four-door, $5,000.

Androscoggin County

• A motorcyclist and his passenger were slightly injured about 4:30 p.m. Sunday when his bike collided with a 1994 Chevrolet driven by Bonnie Treadwell, 44, of Blake Road, Turner.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Dan McGinley said David A. Bilodeau, 31, of Livermore suffered a broken finger when his 2003 Suzuki collided with the rear of Treadwell’s car as the car pulled onto Route 4 heading south from Blake Road in Turner near the shopping plaza.

Bilodeau was heading north on Route 4 when the accident happened.

Bilodeau’s passenger, Melissa Knight, 32, of Poland, suffered scrapes and scratches to her hand, McGinley added. The Turner Rescue ambulance took both of them to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston for treatment.
