CANTON – Seven Victorian Villa Adult Day Service clients are looking forward to the second annual Campout at Papoose Pond in Waterford in mid-June.

Clients and staff have been raising money through bottle drives, lawn sales and food sales to pay for the cabin.

“It wouldn’t be possible for us to sit by a campfire and toast marshmallows without everyone’s support.

Thank you,” said Michelle Corriveau, adult day services coordinator.

Victorian Villa Adult Day Service Team decided to go on a camping trip last year, took care of details and solved problems so the trip could take place.

Administrator Mark Jacobs shared his surprise that the Adult Day Service team was able to resolve all of the difficulties last year.

Adult Day Service programs can give many people the opportunity to continue living at home rather than move to a residential or nursing care facility.
