NORWAY – CLUBROWE, an after-school academic enrichment program based at Guy E. Rowe Elementary School, will offer a full-time summer program for students entering grades one through seven.

In addition to engaging in traditional summer camp activities like swimming, hiking and arts and crafts, campers will learn about world cultures, do science experiments and create their own films.

Students who need assistance with reading, writing and math will have the opportunity to boost their academic skills in daily math and literacy centers.

Themes for the summer include “Amazing Animals,” “Hooray for Hollywood!,” “Discover America,” “The Natural World,” “Exploring Space,” “The Magic of Music,” “Outrageous Outback” and “Go for the Gold.”

CLUBROWE Summer Adventure will partner with the Norway Memorial Library by participating in the library’s summer reading program. Swimming lessons will be offered through the Norway Recreation Department.

Busing and a discounted fee are available to students wishing to participate in the LOOK program at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. CLUBROWE will also partner with a number of SAD 17 schools or who are summer visitors to the area.
