NORWAY – Will Kyle, a first-grader at Guy E. Rowe Elementary School, has received first prize in Level II (age 14 and under) in the Bagaduce Music Lending Library’s Young Composers Competition.

Kyle entered his piano composition, “Moonlight Walk in Snow.” He was invited to perform the piece at a reception for the young composers hosted by Bagaduce in Blue Hill.

Kyle is the son of David Kyle and Anne Campbell of Norway. He studies piano with Helen Davidson of Hebron.

The lending library, established in 1983, is one of the largest sheet music libraries in the world. Its mission is to collect, preserve and lend printed music and to provide musical education programs.
