LEWISTON – New Life Community Center, 134 College St., will hold a Community Awareness Open House from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 19.

The purpose is to bring awareness of the programs offered by New Life and other helping organizations in the community.

Tours of the facility will be given every hour, along with demonstrations of karate by Pelletier’s Karate and a puppet show by Peek a Boo Productions. Police and fire departments will have displays off and on throughout the day. Radio station WMSJ Joy 89.3 will do a live broadcast in the morning.

Open house activities will include several information booths, fund-raising raffles, crafts and a bake sale. There will be clowns present for the children along with craft-making, games, face painting and free balloons.

The center teen group will have a yard sale at the same time. The door prize will be a $50 gas card.
