LEWISTON – Central Maine Christian Academy recently held its graduation ceremony at the United Baptist Church.

Commencement exercises were held for the school’s three seniors: Jason Gray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Gray; Amelia Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hansen; and Sarina Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smith.

During the graduation, students honored their senior classmates through interpretive music, songs and tributes they had written, followed by a slide show of each of the graduates’ lives.

United Baptist Church Pastor Jon Vermillion presented the commencement address, “God’s Revolutionaries.” The diplomas were awarded by Administrator Patricia St. Hilaire, board member David St. Hilaire and members of the high school staff, Tammy Paquette, Mike Nyberg and Patricia Zebley.

Following the benediction given by Nyberg, relatives and friends joined the graduates and their parents in a receiving line.
