AUBURN – The Auburn Housing Authority held its annual volunteer celebration at the Auburn Esplanade Community Room recently. The celebration recognized tenants who helped with activities throughout the year in Auburn Housing Authority buildings.
Sixty-five tenants from the various buildings attended the celebration along with Auburn Housing Authority commissioners and Auburn Housing Authority staff members.
The authority provided the luncheon and U.S. Rep. Michael Michaud sponsored Maine humorist, Gary Crocker, who entertained the tenants.
Each tenant received a small gift and certificate. There were many door prizes drawn.
