LEWISTON – Mystery for Hire continues performances of its murder mystery dinner theater production, “Stress Can Kill!” at Marco’s Restaurant with the next performance on Saturday, June 19. Showtime is 7 p.m.

The show is a murder mystery that takes place at a stress reduction seminar including stress-reducing gimmicks and nonstop laughs.

Audience members are encouraged to take notes as they watch the mystery unfold. When a crime takes place, they become amateur detectives who try to figure out “whodunit?” The person who most correctly guesses who did the crime is the “super sleuth” of the evening.

“We are pleased to continue this production especially because we know the playwright quite well,” said Dan Marois. He and his wife, Denise, have run the mystery theater company for the last decade. “The writer is Patricia Black from South Paris who we have worked with extensively in other productions. She has a wit and style that makes for a great mystery production.”

In addition to the regular schedule of shows at Marco’s, the troupe also does other shows, such as fund-raisers, corporate events and annual meetings.

Tickets for mystery shows at Marco’s are $34.95 per person, which includes the show, buffet, tax and gratuity.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For reservations, people can call 783-0336. Information is available at www.mysteryforhire.com.
