FARMINGTON – Edith H. Tobin, 82, of Wilton, died Tuesday, June 8, at 7:30 a.m. at Sandy River Nursing Home.
Born in Rangeley, Feb. 5, 1922, the daughter of Andy A. Hinkley and Adelaide N. Hinkley, she graduated from Rangeley High School in 1939.
She married Arnold Tobin of Wilton on July 5, 1941. Mrs. Tobin was a beautician, insurance agent, real estate agent and former employee at G.H. Bass, Wilton Woolen Mill and Franklin County ASCS.
She was a member of the Himalayan Society and Democratic Party. She enjoyed swimming, amateur theatre, photography, crafts and her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Bukowski of New Britain, Conn.; a son, Edward Tobin of Fayette; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold. No funeral or burial service will be held
