ORONO – The Pine Tree State 4-H Foundation has awarded Amanda Stinson of Bowdoin the 2004 Claude F. Clement Post-Secondary Educational Scholarship of $1,000.
Stinson, a member of 4-H for 13 years, was presented the award at the foundation’s annual meeting on May 14 in Orono. She has been active in 4-H and has served as president of two clubs.
Stinson has participated in the Eastern States Exposition as a volunteer and attended Citizenship Washington Focus and the AJSA National Classics.
In school, Stinson has participated in chorus and band and plans to become a veterinarian. She will attend SUNY Cobleskill to major in pre-veterinary science.
