MEXICO – The Mexico First Baptist Church, 20 Roxbury Road, will host a special event on Father’s Day evening, June 20.

Michael Heath, director of the Maine Christian Civic League, and his wife, Paulie, a Christian recording artist, will share musically and in testimony at 6 p.m.

The event will focus on the theme of family and, especially, the responsibility of fathers in the home.

Paulie Heath studied music in college and performs all over the New England area.

Her style combines a new-folk sound with a slightly alternative but creative slant.

Heath writes and sings inspirational, contemporary songs from the heart.

She has produced four recordings since 1997.

Michael, as director of the Maine Christian Civic League, represents the evangelical church in state and national government forums.

The Maine Christian Civic League is allied nationally with Focus on the Family Ministry of Colorado, with family consultant Dr. James Dobson as its director. A love offering will be taken for the Heaths in their ministry.

The Heaths live with their three sons in central Maine.

For more information, contact Pastor Bob Peters at 364-8712. The public is invited.
