PARIS – The Oxford County Educators Retired will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 18, at the South Paris Congregational Church. A brief meeting will be followed by dinner and a program, with Rosita Gagne as speaker on education and legislation.

Red Hats full
RUMFORD – The Red Hat Mommas of Western Maine met with 45 members attending recently. Due to the large number of members, the group is closing membership.
Any member wishing to attend monthly meetings is asked call Rita at 562-7402 or Isabelle at 562-4241 in advance.
The group will go to the Mexico Chicken Coop on Wednesday, June 30. Members will leave at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, from the Abbott Farm Plaza for the Bethel Home and Garden Tour.
New members on May 26 were Sally MacFawn, Jamie Reed, Mary Buccina, Jean Bedard and Clarice Hodges. A guest, Marge Blough of Kirtland, Ohio, was present.
Red Hat pins were won by Dot Wing, Naomi Robertson and Pat Pino. It was decided to go as a group to the RAAPA production on June 25.
