SOUTH PARIS – Floyd A. Harlow Jr. Post 9787, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Auxiliary held installation of officers on May 14.
Installing officer was the past department president, Betty Houle. Department Chaplain Linda Brackett officiated as conductress.
Installed were Eula Felker, president; Donna Wing, senior vice president; Florice Monteith, junior vice president; Lori McCloud, secretary; Jeanette Conover, treasurer; and Lula Meserve, chaplain.
The post was also invited to attend the installation. Following a speech by outgoing president June Wing coffee and pastries were served.
Delegates were elected to attend the VFW Auxiliary Department of Maine Convention in Bangor this month. Delegates are Eula Felker, Jeannette Conover and June Wing. Alternates are Donna Wing, Lori McCloud and Lula Meserve.
The auxiliary members invite all women whose husbands are or were in the military to join them on the first Wednesday of each month at 5 p.m. for a potluck supper followed by the meeting.
