• William Mellish, 25, of 58 Carlton St., Auburn, arrested on warrant for unpaid fines, 11:27 p.m. Friday.

Accidents
Lewiston

• A cyclist was struck by a car and received minor injuries Friday morning, police said. The accident happened as Andrew Frost, 22, of 917 Lisbon St., was riding his mountain bike on Lisbon Street when Joseph R. Knight, 64, of Lewiston, was pulling out of Burger King. Knight did not see Frost, police said, and his vehicle struck Frost, causing him to be ejected.

Auburn

• One car struck another vehicle in traffic on Center Street causing a chain reaction and two other vehicles to be struck, but no one was injured, police said.

The four-vehicle accident happened Friday night when Sean Watson, 36, of 91 Wood St., Lewiston; Larry Maillett, 47, of 34 Heiken Drive, Turner; and Kelly Barry, 37, of 36 Old Farm Hill, Auburn, were all stopped in traffic at 7 p.m.

Ashley Pelletier, 26, of 19 Interuban St., Auburn, was approaching and did not notice that the traffic in front of her was stopped, police said. She struck Watson’s vehicle, which struck Mailett’s, which struck Barry’s vehicle. Police estimated $2,000 damage to Pelletier’s vehicle, $2,000 to Watson’s, $5,000 to Maillet’s pick-up, and $1,000 to Barry’s Jeep.

• A deer died Friday night when it ran in front of a vehicle on South Main Street. The driver, Kory M. Brown, 19, of 1745 Pownal Road, Auburn, was not injured. The deer ran in front of Brown’s vehicle at 9:05 p.m. Police estimated damage to Brown’s Dodge at $1,500.
