WALES – The following Oak Hill High School students have been selected to attend Boys State at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine and Girls State at Husson College in Bangor. Students are sponsored by the Litchfield and Sabattus American Legion posts, the Sabattus Sons of American Legion and the Litchfield and Sabattus American Legion Auxiliary organizations.

Bradley Krook, son of George and Kelly Krook of Sabattus, is a member of the football, basketball and lacrosse teams. He is also a member of the Latin Club and Prom Committee.

Christopher Curran, son of Michel and Lorraine Curran of Sabattus, is a member of the tennis and soccer teams. He is also junior class treasurer as well as a member of the French club, jazz band, national honor society and the Oak Hill High School student leadership team.

John Daggett, son of John and Rita Daggett of Litchfield, is a member of the soccer and baseball teams. He is the president of the class of 2005 and a member of the Oak Hill High School student leadership team. Daggett is an accomplished musician and has been selected to the District 3 honors band; District 3 honors jazz band and the Maine all-state band.

Danielle Chasse, daughter of Roger and Lorraine Chasse of Sabattus, is a member of the jazz band, OHLA, French club and prom committee. She is also involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters and has helped with Red Cross blood drives.

Christina Demers, daughter of Guy and Patty Demers of Litchfield, is a member of the band and is president of the French club. She has received student of the month recognition and has helped with Red Cross blood drives.

Kaitlyn Clarke, daughter of Kenneth Clarke of Winthrop and Elisa Clarke of Litchfield, has been involved in soccer and softball. She is a member of OHLA, the student leadership team and the prom committee. Clarke has been selected as student of the month and has helped with the Red Cross blood drives.
