AUBURN – Midday drivers are advised to find another way to reach the Auburn Mall from downtown this week.
City crews will be closing Park Avenue between Lake and Summer streets daily between Monday and Thursday to install a culvert.
“When we replace a cross-culvert, we dig up the entire street,” said Operations Manager Gary Wadsworth. “It’s just going to be for four days, and we’ll be closing it intermittently, but it will be closed.”
The road is a popular path for southern Auburn drivers trying to reach Wal-Mart and the mall.
“Just plan on finding another way,” Wadsworth said.
