AUBURN – Students at Fairview Elementary School recently learned their daily science lesson with a hands-on approach at this year’s “Challenge the Wind” Program that took place on school grounds.
Sponsored by RE/MAX River Cities Realty in Auburn, students observed RE/MAX of New England Balloon Pilot Chris Mooney in the inflation of the hot air balloon while learning about the balloon and how it works.
Teachers and parents also had the opportunity to receive tethered rides. The event was followed by a question-and-answer session with the balloon pilot.
The balloon is the corporate logo for RE/MAX real estate offices nationwide. RE/MAX is the owner of the largest corporate hot air balloon “fleet” in the world. The balloon, combined with the phrase “Above the Crowd,” is a registered trademark of the real estate organization.
