OTISFIELD – The Pleasant Lake/Parker Pond Association will host an informational forum at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, at the Seeds of Peace International Camp on Powhatan Road.
“Our Lakes’ Environment” is a presentation of what is being done to prevent milfoil from invading Parker Pond and Pleasant Lake. The Department of Environmental Protection will also have a representative explain how nonpoint pollution can destroy lakes. There will be informational brochures and handouts available and displays by various agencies.
Area residents are invited to the free program. Refreshments will follow the program. Parking is available in the lot across the street from the camp. It is a short walk to the assembly building. For more information call Win Webster at 627-4184.
