WALTON – Walton Elementary School held the annual math-a-thon fund-raiser in May. Students collected pledges and completed math tests.

Great prizes, such as bikes, skateboards, savings bonds, CD players, slime kits and art kits, were among the top 19 prizes that were awarded to the top students bringing in the most pledges.

In addition, 30 Beanie Babies were awarded to students, and every student participating received a sports bottle with the Walton School logo.

Total collected was $3,362.21, and top collector was Jenny Rioux, bringing in a total of $261. Coming in second was Dylan Daniels, $220; and third, Aimee Lavoie, $200. Each winner got to choose the prize they wanted.

Walton School math-a-thon winners were Casey Lacasse, Tyler Hall, Zaccary Gauthier, Hannah Delong, Dylan Daniels, Robbie Sepanek, Brianna Robbins, Samantha Haines, Jacob McInnis, Mackenzie McInnis, Spencer Haines, Aimee Lavoie, Chris Lenardis, Caitlyn Lewis, Amanda Dulac, Kristen Whittaker, Nicole Leavitt, Miranda Dostie, Peter Lenardis, Alex Petry, Derrick Lacasse, Jennifer Rioux, Joshua Delong and Amber Hathorne.
