BURLINGTON, Mass. – Denis R. Grondin, 50, of Lewiston, died Friday, July 9, of cancer at the Lahey Clinic.

He was born in Lewiston on June 15, 1954, the son of Armand and Yvette (Beaudoin) Grondin. He was a graduate of Lewiston High School and received a B.S. in Accounting from Husson College in Bangor. He was an associate with his brother at Daniel R. Grondin & Associates since 1976.

He was an avid fisherman and trap shooter. He served as treasurer for the Bronzeback Mainiac Fishing Club, and was a member of the Androscoggin County Fish & Game Club.

He also enjoyed camping and hunting but his greatest pleasure was being father to his two sons, Greg and Erik, a grandfather to 21-month-old Ethan, and a devoted husband to Dolly, his beloved wife of 28 years, all four survive him; he is also survived by three brothers, Richard, Marc, and Danny; a sister, Pauline; as well nephews, Scott, Christopher, Jeremy, and Jonathon.

He was predeceased by his father, Armand in 1995; and his mother, Yvette in 2003.

His spirit will be deeply missed by his family and his many close friends.
